Introduction

Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences, popularly known as Shoolini University, is a private institution located in Solan district, Himachal Pradesh, India.The institution graduated to university status in 2009 from the Shoolini Institute of Life Science and Business Management under the Act of state government.

The institution is run by the Foundation of Life Sciences and Business Management and has established itself among the top universities in the region.It was recently ranked ‘101-150’ by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) among the top Indian Universities.It also flaunts a grade B++ accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Shoolini University is a research-oriented institution, and over the years, they have received research projects from government organizations such as ICMR, DAE, MNRE, DRDO, and DST. Furthermore, they boast of one of the first food testing laboratories in the district and have recently established a Cancer Research Centre.
